Cotton Pygmy Goose, Pheasant-tailed Jacana, Common Snipe, Great Crested Grebe, Spotted Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Temminck's Stint, Northern Lapwing, Kentish Plover, necked Stork, Sarus Crane and Eurasian Wigeon are some of the most famous birds Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
You can also see here a lot of terrestrial birds such as Wryneck, Blue Cheeked Bee-eater, Oriental Skylark, Grey-capped Pygmy Woodpecker, Striated Babbler, Bluethroat, Marshall’s Iora, Cetti's Bush Warbler, Rain Quail, Clamorous Reed Warbler, Chestnut Bellied Sandgrouse, nightjars etc.
