RELIGION IN MUSSOORIE
The people of different religions coexist in Mussoorie with great peace and harmony. However, the entire region of Himalayas in Uttaranchal is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva and hence the Hindu religion hosts a central place in the region. There are several Hindu Temples in Mussoorie dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna and other presiding deities. But apart from majority of Hindu followers, there are several shrines and places related to Islam and Buddhism.
